Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Optimize and support complex communication systems, including RF and networking infrastructure.
  • Provide technical support for specialized systems and product applications, including troubleshooting of software-driven electronics and provisioning of communication system infrastructure.
  • Maintain, optimize, test, and document complex communications systems, including weekly reports of activities and accomplishments.
  • Perform maintenance of server hardware/OS and software infrastructure and troubleshooting to resolve system/application related issues.
  • Perform preventative maintenance routines to ensure proper system operation, with a focus on trend analysis and documentation of results.
  • Develop solutions to difficult technical problems encountered as part of system maintenance, upgrades, or support issues.
  • Continuously train in the latest technologies and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, and sales personnel to effectively maintain, optimize, and support advanced communication systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of Field Service experience with one or more of the following: LMR, IT, Radio, RF Systems, Wired/Wireless Communication Systems, Public Safety, or Networking Equipment.
  • Must be able to obtain background clearance as required by government customers.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Unique combinations of both multi-site RF communications systems and/or computer/networking skills.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: LMR, RF systems, RF interfaces, wired/wireless communication systems, or networking equipment.
