Academic Hospitalist Physician Opportunity in Pennsylvania

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Board-certified/board-eligible Internal Medicine physician to join our team of hospitalists at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital in Pennsylvania. Job SummaryAs a hospitalist at Geisinger Jersey Shore Hospital, you will be responsible for providing medical care to patients who require hospitalization. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality patient care, managing patient flow, and collaborating with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions.
Responsibilities- Obtain comprehensive medical histories and perform physical examinations to identify potential health issues.
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and circumstances.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and experiences.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess:
- A Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school.
- Board certification or eligibility in Internal Medicine.
- Licensure to practice medicine in the State of Pennsylvania.
- At least 1 year of experience as a hospitalist or equivalent experience in a related field.
