We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at Silver Creek Physical Therapy. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities
• Prepare treatment rooms for patients by following established protocols and procedures.
• Assist patients with physical therapy treatment, including applying ice or heat packs, helping patients onto exercise equipment, and monitoring motion.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with safety procedures and regulations.
• Provide equipment and supplies to treatment areas, positioning equipment for therapist access, and positioning patients on equipment.
• Ensure the operation of physical therapy equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements.
• Maintain physical therapy supplies inventory by checking stock levels and anticipating needed supplies.
• Enhance the physical therapy department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in customer service and physical therapy settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to maintain confidential documents and communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to identify and problem-solve, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions
This role requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, and stretching. The ideal candidate will have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and present reports.
