Job Summary:

As an MRI Technologist at Ascension, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Imaging Department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate MRI equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and department efficiency.

Requirements:
  • CARDIAC DIAGNOSTIC IMAGING TECHNICIAN (CDIT) certification from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
  • Medical Sonographer certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
