Job Summary:The Social Worker - Behavioral Health Specialist will assess and treat patients with mental health and substance use disorders, providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions. This role requires a strong understanding of behavioral health principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Develop and maintain relationships with community resources and agencies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Masters degree in Social Work or related field
- Licensure as a clinician or undergoing clinical supervision
- 5+ years of experience in behavioral health or a related field
- Strong understanding of behavioral health principles and theories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
