We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Trinity Health Of New England. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare Patients for Office Visits: Escort patients to treatment rooms, obtain pertinent patient information, and document information in patients' charts.
- Process Patient Communications: Answer patient telephone calls, respond to correspondence, and coordinate patient flow in the office.
- Support Clinical Staff: Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care, take vital signs, and document patient information.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Process and file lab/diagnostic test results, clinical notes, and correspondence in patients' charts.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of six (6) months of related work experience required.
- Certifications: National Certification as a Medical Assistant a plus.
