We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our Outpatient team in Northeast Montana. This is a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive mental health care to individuals and families in a small, vibrant community.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, ensuring therapeutic effectiveness and minimizing adverse effects.
- Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to address emotional, behavioral, and interpersonal concerns.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate care for patients with complex mental health needs.
- Monitor patient progress, reassess treatment plans as needed, and facilitate referrals to specialty services when appropriate.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
- Actively participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives to enhance psychiatric services within the clinic.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric/Mental Health.
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric care is preferred.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Competitive base salary ranging from $140k-$165k, depending on experience.
