As a Cardiac Catheterization Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care within the cardiac catheterization lab. Your expertise will be essential in managing patients undergoing various cardiac procedures.
Certification Requirements:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- Current RN Licensure
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients in the cardiac cath lab.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
- On-call duties during weekends on a rotating basis
Unit Information:
- Location: Cardiac Cath Lab
- Facility: Del Sol Medical Center
- Floor: First Floor
- Capacity: 3 Cardiac Cath Labs, 1 Electrophysiology Lab, 1 Hybrid Lab
- Staffing: 1 Charge RN, 3 Clinical RNs, 3 Cardiovascular Technologists
- Patient Ratios: 1:1
- Equipment: EMR – Meditech
Permanent Opportunities:
- Yes, permanent positions are available within the unit.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Cath Lab procedures
- Knowledge of cardiac diagnostics, PCI, Impella, peripheral vascular angiography/angioplasty, electrophysiology studies, IABP, thrombectomy, and implants.
Dress Code:
- Scrub Color: Royal Blue
Ideal Candidate:
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cardiac care, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and be adaptable to new technologies and equipment.
