The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in electrical construction management and a demonstrated history of successfully delivering large-scale projects valued between $10 million and $50 million.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all facets of large-scale electrical projects, including strategic planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource management.
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and subcontractors to establish project requirements and objectives.
  • Lead project teams, offering guidance and direction to ensure timely and budget-compliant project completion.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Manage the procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Track project budgets and expenditures, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate, prepare, and issue subcontracts.
  • Supervise and mentor the work of other project managers and assistant project managers.
  • Coordinate all construction activities with the on-site project superintendent.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • At least 8 years of continuous experience in commercial electrical project management.
  • Proven success in managing large-scale commercial electrical projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills, focused on achieving project goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of effectively engaging with clients, project teams, and vendors.
  • Proficient in project management software such as Excel, Accubid estimating software, Bluebeam, Procore, and Microsoft Project.
  • Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation and change order management capabilities.
  • Ability to implement innovative and effective management techniques to enhance employee and project performance.
  • Advanced understanding of safety protocols and relevant OSHA regulations.
