We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at AHC Waverly LLC. As a charge nurse, you will lead a team of caregivers who are dedicated to providing exceptional care to our residents and patients.
Your role will involve providing personalized healthcare to residents, supervising support staff, and ensuring the comfort and safety of those we serve. You will be responsible for directing the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff, providing or monitoring direct prescribed nursing care, and updating care plans as needed.
Responsibilities:- Directing the day-to-day functions of nursing aides and support staff
- Providing or monitoring direct prescribed nursing care to residents
- Updating care plans as needed and notifying physician or advanced practitioner about changes in a resident's condition
- Performing administrative duties like documenting assessments and ordering supplies
- Admitting, transferring and discharging residents
- Performing emergency procedures like CPR and notifying family and appropriate parties in the event of death
- Minimum of six (6) months experience working in a hospital, long term care facility or other healthcare institution
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with a registered nurse (RN) degree
- Currently licensed in the state of Tennessee as a registered nurse (RN)
- Current CPR Certification
