CAD Draftsman

At Vantage Point Solutions, we're seeking a skilled CAD Draftsman to join our team. As a CAD Draftsman, you will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed field drawings of network routes in both urban and rural environments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to interpret overview maps to designate construction routes and equipment. They will also be able to transfer information from overview maps to field drawings with a high degree of detail, including streets, intersections, and utility poles.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret overview maps to designate construction routes and equipment
• Transfer information from overview maps to field drawings with a high degree of detail
• Utilize Google Earth and other online resources to ensure accurate and comprehensive field drawings
• Perform quality checks on field drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Meet assigned timelines and deadlines

Requirements:

• Detail-oriented and results-driven
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Functional knowledge of MS Office
• Preferred but not required: telecom experience, experience using Microsoft Visio and Google Earth
