About the Role

As a Registered Dietitian - Patient Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide personalized nutrition services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and Address Patient Nutrition Needs: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' nutritional status, identifying areas for improvement and developing tailored plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Develop and Implement Nutrition Care Plans: Create and implement evidence-based nutrition care plans, taking into account patients' medical history, lifestyle, and cultural background.
  • Provide Education and Support: Offer personalized education and support to patients and their families, empowering them to make informed decisions about their nutrition and health.
  • Contribute to Quality Improvement Initiatives: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to the development of best practices in nutrition care.
Requirements
  • Education and Certification: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, meeting the dietetic didactic requirements, and national registration as a Registered Dietitian.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
