Job Summary:
As a Cafe Associate, you'll be responsible for preparing food and drinks, managing cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. You'll work closely with our team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for all guests.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare all fudge products and sell to customers
- Perform various cafe functions, including deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, and other duties as assigned
- Follow all food safety guidelines by state and local ordinances
- Ensure all products are received and stored according to standard operating guidelines
- Assist in training new associates using kitchen tools and mentor checklists
- Manage cash control and till management according to Scheels' cashier guidelines
- Maintain an orderly and exceptionally clean appearance of personal workspace and surrounding areas
- Be professional in appearance and attitude, contribute to a positive team atmosphere, and treat others with respect and consideration while following Scheels' policies and procedures
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees
- Ability to work assigned scheduled hours, including varied shifts, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Prepare various types of food, drinks, and ingredients

Education & Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a high school education, up to one month related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Salary: $$12-$15 per hour, depending on location and experience.
