**About the Job:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Splunk Administrator to join our team at Wood Consulting.

The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in related fields and hold a Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin Certificate or higher.

Responsibilities will include design, implementation, and support of Splunk core components, as well as configuration and administration of Splunk ingestion and forwarding for new and existing applications and data.

A strong understanding of networking components and devices, ports, protocols, and basic networking troubleshooting steps is essential.

Additionally, the ability to troubleshoot issues with log feeds, search time, and field extractions, as well as problems related to data solutions, is required.

**Requirements:**

  • Splunk Enterprise Certified Admin Certificate or higher
  • At least 8 years of related experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following: StealthWatch, TripWire, Zenoss, ArcSight, Splunk
  • Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Splunk core components
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues with log feeds, search time, and field extractions
