We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to support students' occupational and academic performance. The successful candidate will work closely with students, parents, and educators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and provide therapeutic interventions to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other challenges that impact students' learning and participation in school activities.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments to identify students' strengths and challenges
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to support students' occupational and academic performance
- Provide therapeutic interventions to address fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other challenges that impact students' learning and participation in school activities
- Collaborate with students, parents, and educators to support students' independence and success
- Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of employment (or eligibility for licensure)
- Masters degree in occupational therapy
- Experience working with children in educational settings
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
