The 4th Year Commercial Electrical Apprentice plays a vital role in supporting the installation, upkeep, and repair of electrical systems within commercial environments. Key Details:Location: Colorado Springs, CO / Falcon, CO
Compensation: $25.00 Per Hour (with a night shift premium of $26.50)
Shifts: Day shift - 7am to 3:30pm (Monday-Friday) Night shift - 9pm to 5am (Sunday - Thursday)
Primary Responsibilities:
- Installation of Electrical Systems:
- Assist in the setup of electrical wiring, conduits, and components in commercial facilities.
- Support the installation of lighting systems and power distribution units.
- Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
- Perform routine maintenance on existing electrical systems.
- Identify and resolve electrical issues under guidance.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
- Follow safety protocols to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Project Assistance:
- Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
- Assist in organizing materials and tools for electrical projects.
- Professional Development:
- Engage in ongoing training and development initiatives.
- Prepare for the journeyman electrician licensing examination by enhancing both practical and theoretical knowledge.
- Completion of 3rd-year apprenticeship training.
- Basic knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local electrical standards.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Physical capability to perform job tasks, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
