Job Opportunity

Finger Lakes Dental Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a key member of our dental care team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality dental cleanings and periodontal assessments to maintain patients' oral health.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to address patients' unique needs.
  • Provide education and guidance on oral hygiene practices and preventive care to patients.
  • Utilize modern imaging technology to take and develop digital X-rays for precise diagnostics.
  • Accurately document patient information and treatment plans in our electronic health records system.
  • Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions they may have.
  • Collaborate with our dentist and other team members to provide optimal patient care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Dental Hygienist license in New York State.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly, patient-focused attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Proficient in using dental software and technology.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Preventive dental approach with a focus on the link between oral health and overall systemic wellness.
