Physician and Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician and Surgeon to join our team at the Department of State Hospitals Coalinga. As a key member of our medical staff, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and performing all phases of medical services provided, making professional decisions regarding surgery and general medical work.

• Plan, direct, and perform all phases of medical services provided
• Make professional decisions regarding surgery and general medical work
• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Provide medical leadership and guidance to junior staff members

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a strong background in medicine, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be able to work any shift and schedule, and be willing to float to other work locations as determined by the operational needs of the hospital.
