Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Program Director to lead our Wound Care Program and drive strategic growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day center operations, staff management, financial management, quality/performance improvement, community education, and clinical functions oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Center Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day management of outpatient clinics and other wound care continuum programs.
    • Assess current clinic flows, processes, and procedures, and develop best practices to improve outcomes.
    • Work with hospital and company personnel to ensure availability of resources, supplies, equipment, and services.
    • Prioritize responsibilities and direct the work of clinical staff and non-clinical staff.
  • Manage Direct Reports
    • Interview, hire, motivate, coach, counsel, and conduct performance reviews for direct reports.
  • Perform Financial Management
    • Manage and coordinate revenue cycles for Healogics and hospital partners.
    • Stay current with reimbursement changes and provide updates and education as needed.
    • Review key financial reports, identify trends, and develop plans to implement best practices.
  • Manage Community Education/Marketing Functions
    • Work with hospital and Healogics marketing departments to establish strategic marketing plans.
    • Develop a systematic approach to build customer relationships and increase Wound Care Center referrals.
    • Maintain and update lists of physician practices and visit them to provide awareness of the Wound Care Center program.
  • Manage Quality/Performance Improvement Functions
    • Implement and manage a continuous Wound Care Center Performance Improvement Program.
    • Participate in hospital committees and ensure timely and accurate documentation in patient records and outcomes databases.
  • Manage Clinical Functions
    • Coordinate clinical activities and direct the work of clinical staff.
    • Partner with medical directors to review clinical practices and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Manage Relationships
    • Maintain excellent relationships with hospital clients and understand their needs, goals, and objectives.
    • Build and develop effective working relationships with wound care program providers, clinical and support staff.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or related field preferred.
  • 1 year of marketing/community education experience in the healthcare industry or clinical operations experience.
  • Management experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated competency in BLS (Basic Life Support).
  • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory/accrediting requirements for healthcare organizations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Ability to work with Healogics and hospital management.
Work Environment

This position requires a normal office environment, primarily indoors, with exposure to hazards, mechanical equipment, and proximity to moving objects.
