Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced RN Clinical Coordinator to join our team at LewisGale Hospital Pulaski. As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care. Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with staff to identify educational and equipment needs, and develop strategies to address them.
  • Coach and manage performance skills, and develop leadership potential in nursing staff.
  • Assist in clinical coaching and ensure that orientation for employees is completed in accordance with policy.
  • Participate in providing patient care by taking a patient assignment as needed during emergent situations.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure all nurse-sensitive quality metrics are maintained above the National/NDNQI benchmark through process improvement, reduction in practice variation, and evidence-based practice.
Requirements
  • Two years of Registered Nurse experience.
  • Diploma or Associates Degree from a professional nursing program.
  • BSN or current enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited school of Nursing (preferred).
  • Current licensure as an RN in the state of Virginia or current multi-state compact RN license with eligibility to practice in VA is required.
