We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our award-winning Emergency Department team at Dallas Regional Medical Center, a 202-bed acute care hospital accredited by The Joint Commission.

About the Role:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This includes:

  • Providing direct patient care within the scope of practice
  • Directing and guiding patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel
  • Maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), preferred
  • Valid Texas State Registered Nursing (RN) license, required
  • Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current, required
  • Current ACLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
  • Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire and maintain current
  • Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) certificate within 12 months of hire
  • Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) within 2 years of hire, preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferred
  • Minimum of one year as a staff nurse in an acute care hospital ED setting, required
