Job Title: Ag Equipment Salesperson

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ag Equipment Salesperson to join our team in southeastern Minnesota. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with key Ag grower accounts, developing and growing sales, and providing exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key Ag grower accounts
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers
  • Plan and schedule sales calls and meetings
  • Focus on operational optimization for Ag grower customers
Requirements:
  • Associates degree or higher preferred; will also consider equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of Ag Equipment Sales experience
  • Excellent knowledge of farm equipment, including current technology trends
  • Knowledge of farming practices in southeastern Minnesota and crop inputs such as crop protection, fertilizer, and seed
  • Good understanding of area Ag retailers and their operations
  • Customer-service focused with excellent relationship building skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Desire to be involved in community activities and trade shows
  • Clean driving record
