Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ag Equipment Salesperson to join our team in southeastern Minnesota. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with key Ag grower accounts, developing and growing sales, and providing exceptional customer support.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key Ag grower accounts
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers
- Plan and schedule sales calls and meetings
- Focus on operational optimization for Ag grower customers
- Associates degree or higher preferred; will also consider equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years of Ag Equipment Sales experience
- Excellent knowledge of farm equipment, including current technology trends
- Knowledge of farming practices in southeastern Minnesota and crop inputs such as crop protection, fertilizer, and seed
- Good understanding of area Ag retailers and their operations
- Customer-service focused with excellent relationship building skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Desire to be involved in community activities and trade shows
- Clean driving record
