Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Midwest Veterinary Supply. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering products to our customers in a timely and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and deliver products to customers in a safe and efficient manner
  • Establish a route plan to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Verify package counts and special instructions before delivery
  • Communicate with branch and/or warehouse manager regarding any issues or concerns
  • Ensure the assigned truck is in sound operational condition
Requirements and Qualifications
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Experience as a delivery driver is preferred
  • A valid Driver's License and DOT requirements are necessary
  • Forklift certification or ability to become certified is preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to work well with others and independently
Mental and Physical Demands
  • Attention to detail is critical for route planning and delivery accuracy
  • Regular interaction with people and ability to work in a team environment
  • Fast-paced work environment with potential for stress related to weather and traffic conditions
Work Environment

Work will be performed on the road and in clinics year-round, with exposure to seasonal elements. Moderate exposure to dust and dirt may be expected. Depending on the route, overnight stays may be required.
