We are actively seeking candidates for the upcoming school year.
- Competitive starting pay of $22 per hour, increasing to $25.50 per hour as experience grows (W2 employment).
WORK SCHEDULE:
- PCAs will be engaged on all student attendance days, working full days throughout the academic year.
- Typical school hours are approximately: 7:30 AM - 2:30 PM (secondary) or 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM (elementary).
- Current openings available at Life Works in Doylestown, PA: approximately 8 AM - 3 PM.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct support to students under the guidance of the teacher and special education supervisor.
- Assist students who require intensive behavioral support (e.g., self-injurious behaviors, verbal and physical aggression).
- Deliver instructional, behavioral, and physical assistance to individual students or small groups, including the use of assistive technology, prompting, and facilitating social skills.
- Help students develop organizational skills, guide them in activities, and monitor their progress.
- Collect daily data and document progress notes in a specified format for each session.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Preferred: Minimum of two years of post-secondary education (48 credits).
- Experience in public schools or working with school-aged children in a licensed or certified setting is preferred.
CREDENTIALS:
(Clearances must be obtained within 12 months)
- PA Child Abuse (Act 151) Clearance.
- PA Criminal (Act 34) Clearance.
- PA Department of Education FBI Clearance – Use code 1KG6XN.
- Current TB Screening (within 3 months).
- Education Documentation - Diploma or Official Transcripts.
