Join Wencor Group as an HVAC Technician III and take on a challenging role in our aviation maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of aircraft component repair processes, ensuring compliance with approved documentation, procedures, and FAA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform and document parts maintenance functions, including disassembly, cleaning, inspections, and testing.
- Order required parts and materials, and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Train and instruct others in areas of competency, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
- Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping, including training records and proficiency assessments.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with 2-4 years of related experience and/or training.
- Ability to read and interpret federal regulations, customer documents, and technical manuals.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
The physical demands of this role include standing, walking, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The work environment is moderate noise levels, with regular use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
