Job Summary

The Signals Software Engineer develops, maintains, and enhances signal processing software, working individually or as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and design methodologies, with experience in signal processing and software development environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance signal processing software, including detectors, demodulators, and protocol processors.
  • Review and test software components for adherence to design requirements and document test results.
  • Resolve software problem reports and provide input to software components of system design.
  • Utilize software development and design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • At least Seven (7) years of experience as a SSWE or equivalent on a project with a focus on Radio Frequency (RF) to include experience with Fourier transforms, filtering, communications theory, digital modulation, error control coding, signals analysis tools, and digital signal processing.
  • Experienced within Linux development environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • Additional experience in software defined radio architectures, commercial wireless standards, geolocation techniques, software configuration management tools, Python, Eclipse IDE, Google Protocol Buffer, model-based design, service oriented architecture, and Linux OS.

Clearance Requirements: Requires a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a polygraph and U.S. Citizenship.
