Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and oversee testing procedures on diverse machinery.
  • Document testing data in standardized formats and relay findings to product and engineering teams.
  • Evaluate test results to detect any defects, malfunctions, or performance discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to propose solutions for testing challenges or equipment failures.
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate testing apparatus and systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to testing methodologies.
  • Develop innovative testing protocols in partnership with the engineering team.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during testing processes.

Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent educational background.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience in the field or a related area.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific testing methods and equipment (e.g., calipers, drop mics, bore gauges, inside/outside micrometers).
  • Experience with torque wrenches and mechanical systems.
  • Understanding of standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry.
  • Ability to work under direct supervision and achieve objectives with limited experience and judgment.
  • Creativity and independence required for effective problem-solving.
  • Capability to lift weights exceeding 30 lbs. and manage physical risks associated with testing.
