Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to oversee and ensure that vaccine clinical research and development programs are planned, implemented, and executed to meet company objectives.

About the Role
  • Lead global clinical research programs, providing high-level oversight of direction and planning, including preparation of Clinical Development Plans.
  • Oversee one or more Clinical Project Teams, identifying program issues, and developing strategic solutions with clinical teams.
  • Establish program priorities, drive key programs, and collaborate with clinical leads to determine scientific content for Investigator meetings.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and oversee global clinical research programs, ensuring quality through oversight of initial program activities, implementation, and monitoring of clinical trials.
  • Represent the medical research and Vaccines Research and Development point of view to other line functions, providing input into publications strategy and critically reviewing publications.
  • Interact with regulatory groups and internal auditing groups on a project level, providing high-level accountability for providing responses to regulatory agency inspection observations and internal audits.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (M.D./D.O. or equivalent)
  • 10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical industry related to clinical research programs and registration activities, with a minimum of 5-7 years of vaccine research and development experience
  • Possesses ability to critically evaluate scientific/medical information and propose new concepts and innovative ideas in drug development
Benefits

This role offers an annual base salary range of $299,600.00 to $499,400.00, with eligibility for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan and a bonus target of 30.0% of the base salary. Comprehensive benefits include a 401(k) plan, paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits.
