Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As an IR Tech, you will play a crucial role in assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment, preparing and observing patients undergoing procedures, and reporting abnormal activity. If you have a strong background in radiology and excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
  • Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
  • Monitor patients during procedures
  • Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques
  • Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
  • Maintain accurate patient records
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system
Requirements:
  • 1 year of experience in acute care
  • BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification
  • State-specific licensing when required
  • Vascular Interventional certificate preferred
