Job Summary

AdeIphi Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Recreational Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing specialized recreation therapy services for patients and youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement therapeutic recreation programs to promote social interaction, leisure skills, and reentry preparation for patients and youth.
  • Collaborate with primary clinicians, correctional counselors, and custody personnel to coordinate services and ensure seamless care.
  • Conduct assessments to identify recreation therapy needs and develop individualized plans to address these needs.
Requirements
  • Active Recreational Therapist license issued by the California Board of Recreation and Park Certification.
  • At least 12 consecutive months of experience in performing similar services within the last 3 years.
  • BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
  • Proficiency in the English language (speaking and writing).
Work Environment

This position will be based in a correctional facility in Soledad, California, and will require working with patients and youth in a therapeutic setting.
