Thorpe Plant Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scaffold Superintendent to lead our construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising various crew sizes, ensuring project completion schedules are met, and maintaining a safe working environment.

• Project Management: Oversee and coordinate construction activities to meet project deadlines and objectives.
• Crew Management: Lead and supervise crew members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
• Communication: Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective project communication.
• Problem-Solving: Collaborate with team members to resolve project-related issues and implement solutions.

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in a construction environment.
• Certifications: API-936 Certification is preferred.
• Education: In-depth understanding of refractory practices and materials.
• Skills: Strong communication and leadership skills, ability to read and interpret prints, and proficiency in refractory and/or brick.

• Physical Activity: Regularly required to walk, stand, climb, and move around the job site.
• Lifting: Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs.
• Environmental Conditions: Adaptable to temperature changes, outdoor conditions, and prolonged exposure to dusty, wet, or humid environments.
