Job Summary

Coyo Taco is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, maintaining a clean and organized dining area, and ensuring that orders are delivered in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guest Service: Welcome guests, take orders, and serve food and drinks in a friendly and efficient manner.
  • Table Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including clearing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring that the restaurant is tidy and well-maintained.
  • Order Management: Relay orders to the kitchen staff, ensure that orders are delivered in a timely manner, and handle any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • Cash Handling: Accurately handle cash and credit transactions, and maintain a clean and organized cash drawer.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure that the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Age: Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a fast-casual food environment is a plus.
  • Education: Must have or be able to take a food safety class and a responsible alcohol vendors course.
