Job Summary

Lone Star College is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach Computer Information Systems courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer science or a related field and be able to create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Computer Information Systems courses at a variety of times and locations
  • Create and implement instructional approaches that promote student learning and engagement
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback in a timely manner
  • Meet with students before or after class, or by appointment, to discuss their progress and provide support
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and instructional materials
Requirements
  • Master's degree with 18 graduate hours in computer science or a related field
  • Experience teaching computer information systems courses
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
