Job Title: IV Technician

IV Nutrition is seeking a skilled and compassionate IV Technician to join our team. As an IV Technician, you will play a vital role in administering intravenous vitamins for outpatient infusions.

Responsibilities:
  • Starting IVs to perform intravenous fluid administration
  • Performing Intramuscular Injections
  • Documenting interactions and client communication regarding therapy services, assessment, and responses/reactions to treatment
  • Demonstrating compliance with professional standards, regulations, policies, and procedures, and accreditation standards
  • Assessing client's health, including vital signs, physical assessment, mental status, etc., and identifying contraindications to intravenous therapy
  • Basic training for nutrition infusion therapies will be given
  • Performing all other duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, or Assistant Clinic Director
  • Ability to travel to other local clinics based on staffing needs
Qualifications:
  • RN or Paramedic License; must be active and up to date
  • Strong venous access skills
  • Caring and friendly attitude
