About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Impact Evaluation Specialist to join our team at Frontier Design Group. As a key member of our impact measurement practice area, you will play a critical role in supporting our clients in measuring and improving their impact.

Job Summary

This full-time position is remote with occasional travel for client engagements. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in impact measurement, evaluation, and research, with experience in designing and implementing mixed-methods evaluations, research studies, and/or monitoring programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and conduct qualitative (e.g., interviews, focus groups) and quantitative (e.g., surveys) data collection and analysis.
  • Develop and oversee implementation of MEL plans, processes, and products from design to dissemination.
  • Conduct statistical analysis using tools like R, Python, Stata, or SPSS and qualitative analysis using tools like Atlas.ti or MAXQDA.
  • Produce rigorous data insights products (e.g., briefs, reports, decks, infographics, etc.) that convey accurate information in a compelling narrative and/or visual manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-centered MEL design and implementation solutions.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a relevant field; Bachelor's degree with relevant experience also considered.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience conducting work in the monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL) space and/or with applied research, data collection, and data analysis experience.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including data cleaning, data quality review, data management, data coding, analysis, statistics, sampling methodologies, statistical analysis software, data collection, synthesis, and validation.
  • Experience working with clients in various industries, including government agencies, non-profit organizations, academia, foundations, and the private sector.

The salary range for this position is $100,000–$150,000, depending on experience and education.
