Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician II to join our team on the 2nd shift. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing emergency and preventative repairs to plant machinery and infrastructure, minimizing production time losses associated with equipment breakdowns.


Key Responsibilities
  • Safely perform repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the efficient operation of production equipment.
  • Inform the Maintenance Supervisor of supply needs and provide ordering information for replenishment.
  • Develop and review standard operating procedures to govern maintenance functions.
  • Ensure all maintenance work areas are clean and safe.
  • Understand and comply with quality and environmental management systems.
  • Operate equipment such as volt-ohm-millimeters (VOM) and non-contact voltage testers.
  • Perform mechanical fastener installation and lubricant application tasks.
  • Weld, braze, and solder metal, and use basic machine shop skills and safety protocols.
  • Participate in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives.

Requirements
  • Working towards or have an Associate Degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Training in LOTO, Electrical/Mechanical Safe Work Practices, Ladder Safety, CPR, Respiratory Protection, Incipient Stage Fire Response, Confined Space Entry, Fall Protection, Enclosed Spaces Entry, Aerial Lifts, and PIT.
  • Basic PC skills and strong communication and time-management skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and humidity levels.
  • Occasional heavy lifting, squatting, crawling, reaching above shoulders, kneeling, and balancing.
  • Working with various chemicals, wearing proper PPE, handling hazardous waste, and working near energized electric circuits and hot equipment.
