Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Counselor at Groups Recover Together, you will play a pivotal role in our organization. Your primary focus will be on facilitating group therapy, where you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of our members. Our approach challenges conventional industry practices, allowing you to collaborate with a diverse care team that includes prescribers, care navigators, peer recovery coaches, and administrative staff. Together, we provide a holistic clinical model that integrates counseling, medication, and community support as the foundation for sustainable recovery. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the treatment team, serving as the expert on addiction and recovery, and coordinating treatment decisions for members.
- Manage a caseload that aligns with the needs of the office and enhances your clinical expertise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure effective delivery of clinical services.
- Conduct 2-3 group therapy sessions per week, focusing on skill-building and community engagement through our established curriculum.
- Document member progress using outcome measures and client feedback.
- Engage in community outreach activities, including distributing informational materials and participating in relevant meetings.
