Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist I to join our team at NorthShore University HealthSystem. As a Radiologic Technologist I, you will be responsible for preparing patients for exams, performing radiographic exams, and reviewing radiographs to ensure optimum quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for exams by obtaining and recording history, explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort.
  • Perform radiographic exams using various imaging modalities.
  • Review radiographs to ensure optimum quality and complete and submit information and images to the Radiology Information System (RIS) in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • IEMA licensing required.
  • Certificate or Associate's degree from an accredited radiology program.
  • CPR certification required. ARRT registry eligible required within 1 year of employment.
  • Previous radiology experience preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills required.
