Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

IB Parks & Entertainment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rides and mechanical equipment.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our rides and equipment, as well as conducting daily inspections to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on rides and equipment
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations
  • Keep maintenance shop neat, clean, and well-organized
  • Study manuals to gain a better understanding of ride and equipment systems
  • Inspect rides daily and quickly locate the root cause of problems
  • Apply preventive maintenance techniques to rides and equipment
  • Make timely decisions and communicate effectively with team members
  • Complete daily maintenance logs and review with Maintenance Supervisor
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance or repair
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and safety regulations
  • Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions:

The Maintenance Mechanic will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, high places, and outside weather conditions.
