Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to an assigned group of patients, in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Northside Hospital.
  • Participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care, working under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes and ensure the highest level of care.
  • Participate in the Licensed Practical Nurse – Nursing Excellence Track Program (L-NEXT) at Northside Hospital, with opportunities for career advancement through education and certification.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
  • 1 or more years of experience as an LPN.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
  • Must hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a specialty area.
