Job Overview

Van's Home Center is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Warehouse Personnel at our Auburn location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Receive and organize new products delivered to the warehouse, ensuring accurate tracking and storage.
  • Order Fulfillment: Pull and organize products and materials needed for daily customer deliveries and pickups.
  • Inventory Transfers: Transfer items between the main warehouse and offsite warehouse, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Warehouse Organization: Plan and organize materials and items in the warehouse, including inventory tasks and stockroom maintenance.
  • Customer Service: Assist in transferring items to the sales floor and assembling items as needed, ensuring a smooth customer experience.
  • Quality Control: Inspect products for damages and unbox or assemble products as needed prior to customer delivery.
  • Process Compliance: Ensure all organizational and inventory tracking processes are followed, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
  • Team Support: Assist the Warehouse team and Delivery crews as needed, under the instruction of the Warehouse managers and/or the Operations Manager.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical Demands: Able to lift 50+ pounds and be on your feet for the majority of the day.
  • Skills: Fast worker, capable of keeping organized and following instruction/processes.
  • Certifications: Holding a valid driver's license and forklift certification is a plus.
