Position Overview:

Location:
Dartmouth, MA
Duration:
13 weeks with potential for extension

Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM

Essential Qualifications:
  • Active MA RN License
  • Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
  • Knowledge of G/J tube care

Compensation:
$50/hour

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate student care needs.
  • Deliver skilled nursing care in alignment with prescribed orders and Individualized Health Plans (IHP).
  • Administer treatments and medications as prioritized in the IHP.
  • Monitor and document the effectiveness of interventions and treatments.
  • Facilitate communication between the school, local health agencies, and community resources to support student needs.
  • Collaborate with school personnel regarding the student’s care plan.
  • Notify relevant parties of any changes in the student’s condition.
  • Participate in care conferences and IEP meetings as requested.
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
  • Preferred one year of professional nursing experience.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
