Position Overview:
Location:
Dartmouth, MA
Duration:
13 weeks with potential for extension
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Essential Qualifications:
- Active MA RN License
- Experience in pediatric or school nursing preferred
- Knowledge of G/J tube care
Compensation:
$50/hour

Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate student care needs.
- Deliver skilled nursing care in alignment with prescribed orders and Individualized Health Plans (IHP).
- Administer treatments and medications as prioritized in the IHP.
- Monitor and document the effectiveness of interventions and treatments.
- Facilitate communication between the school, local health agencies, and community resources to support student needs.
- Collaborate with school personnel regarding the student’s care plan.
- Notify relevant parties of any changes in the student’s condition.
- Participate in care conferences and IEP meetings as requested.
- Maintain compliance with healthcare standards and regulations.
Minimum Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice.
- Preferred one year of professional nursing experience.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.
- Proficiency in computer skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
