Job Summary

The University of California, Davis Health is seeking a highly skilled LVN Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for providing licensed medical support to medical care providers and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of licensed vocational nurses and provide guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with medical care providers to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Provide education and training to patients and their families on various health topics and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and care coordination.
Requirements
  • Valid California State Board of Vocational Nurse licensure without restrictions.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) or UC Davis Health CPR certification.
  • Valid Intravenous (IV) Therapy and Blood Withdrawal Certification.
  • Minimum three (3) recent years experience as a LVN in an Ambulatory Care/Primary Care setting.
  • Minimum of one (1) year leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with little direction.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
