Responsibilities:
As a Certified Nursing Aide, your duties will include:
- Monitoring and guiding patients who require ongoing supervision.
- Transporting laboratory specimens and medical supplies as instructed.
- Ensuring a safe environment by overseeing the proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Conducting hygiene and safety audits.
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
- Measuring and documenting vital signs accurately.
- Restocking medical supply cabinets and patient care carts.
- Coordinating meal orders for patients under the supervision of nursing staff.
- Safeguarding patient belongings during admissions and transfers.
Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Completion of a Nursing Assistant training program is necessary.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- Basic computer skills are required.
- Ability to lift, move, or assist patients using safe techniques.
- Capability to occasionally lift or push up to 50 lbs. and pull up to 100 lbs.
