Job Title: Pipefitting Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Pipefitting Assistant to support our operations. This role involves assisting skilled pipefitters in various tasks related to pipe installation and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize and maintain tools effectively.
• Assist in the replacement of gaskets.
• Prepare workspaces and gather necessary equipment.
• Follow instructions to cut, measure, thread, and install pipes under supervision.
• Install brackets and secure hangers for piping systems.
• Support the installation of pipes, valves, instruments, and fittings.
• Perform drilling tasks for pipe passage through walls and ceilings.
• Assist in the demolition and re-routing of existing piping systems.
• Help with the transportation and handling of materials.
• Lift and carry various objects as required.
• Maintain regular attendance and be available for travel as needed.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Complete all required safety and job training.
• Adhere to safety and quality protocols consistently.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use personal protective equipment and lift up to fifty pounds.
• Work in various environments including offices, warehouses, and outdoor sites with exposure to elements.
• Access all areas of the job site, including elevated positions and confined spaces.
• Meet the physical demands necessary for the role, including standing for extended periods and working in awkward positions.
