Job Overview

This Senior Caregiver role requires a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in Memory Care. You will provide direct care to residents, assisting with daily activities, monitoring their conditions, and documenting any changes. Your compassion, patience, and effective communication skills will be invaluable in creating a safe and supportive environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct care to residents with memory challenges, focusing on dignity and quality of life enhancement.
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, feeding, and emotional support.
  • Monitor and document residents' vital signs and conditions, particularly those in Memory Care.
  • Maintain a secure and calm environment tailored to the needs of Memory Care residents.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team and families to ensure each resident's personalized care plan is followed.
  • Support residents in cognitive and emotional activities designed to enhance their well-being.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
