Liberty Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our 7South Medical/Telemetry unit. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, addressing the physical, psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, developmental, and age-appropriate needs of each individual patient/family.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing services to patients within an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines.
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager to identify career development opportunities, including championing quality initiatives, participating in committees, and training to charge and/or precept.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in patient care.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Registered Nurse license with eligibility to work in the state of Missouri.
  • BLS and ACLS certification (upon hire or completion of departmental orientation).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BSN degree.
  • Minimum six (6) months recent RN experience.
  • Medical/Surgical (RN, C), Gerontology (RN, BC), Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN), Medical Surgical (CMSRN), or Stroke Certified RN (SCRN) certification.
