Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Rheumatology Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will perform patient assessments, assign diagnoses, and develop personalized treatment plans in accordance with current scientific research and standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop comprehensive treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and analyze medical histories
- Establish and maintain accurate patient records
- Develop and implement ongoing educational programs for patients and their families
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in nursing or physician assistant studies from an accredited program
- Current Illinois license as a nurse practitioner or physician assistant
- Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in rheumatology or a related field
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
