Dodd Vision is seeking a part-time Optometrist to join our team of experienced professionals. As a well-established practice in Akron, Ohio, we offer a unique opportunity for an Optometrist to provide personalized and individualized care to our patients.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional eye health and vision care, with a strong focus on patient education and satisfaction. With a competitive base pay, personal time off, and malpractice insurance, we offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your career growth and well-being.

As a part-time Optometrist, you will provide comprehensive eye examinations, educate patients about their ocular health, and recommend vision-enhancing products. With approximately 15 to 20 patients cared for daily, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills through mentorship with experienced doctors and integrate new techniques and innovations that improve patient care and services.

Established in 1973 by Dr. Gary Dodd, Dodd Vision is a family-owned business serving the Akron communities with exceptional optometric care. In 2007, the practice transitioned to Dr. Andy Dodd, who takes pride in continuing his father's vision to provide quality, affordable, and trustworthy eye care.

The practice focuses on general and medical optometry, specializing in ocular disease diagnosis, treatment, and management, pediatric eye care, and specialty contact lenses. With a commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, we are dedicated to providing a personalized vision care experience in a comfortable, friendly, and professional environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as compassion for patient health and safety. A minimum qualification includes an Optometry license in the state of Ohio.
