Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Dietitian to join our team at Goshen Health. As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in providing nutrition care to our patients, working closely with the healthcare provider to evaluate and implement plans of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments to identify patients' nutritional needs and develop personalized plans of care.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and disease management.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement nutrition care plans, including tube feedings, total parenteral nutrition, and oral nutritional supplements.
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust plans of care as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field from a US regionally accredited university or college.
  • Completion of an ACEND-accredited supervised practice program.
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
  • Current certification with the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care dietetics setting.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
  • Experience with electronic medical records and nutrition software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
